5 Year Plan.

Hey again, so... I've had a lot of things running though my mind recently, and they all seem to be focusing around the future and my confusion with what it holds. It has left me feeling like I need to get some organisation into my life and the first thing I thought was "I need to write this all down"... So here we are. I hope you enjoy! So, firstly! I want to have moved house before I turn 22. I've lived in my house for a year now and I cant deny it, I do love this place. The only thing that I'm starting to realise is that its a little small. Don't get me wrong, I don't need much space with it being just me living here, but if I'm thinking about the future, I know I will eventually need a bigger space to progress my life. I currently live in a one-bedroom house, and it's definitely enough for now - but if I get a career that involved paperwork or marking etc. I want to have an office or a space big enough so my house doesn't get crammed full ...

Losing Your Baby.

Hey everyone, so if you’re reading this now, you’re more than likely reading it because you’re in or have been in the same boat as me... on the 23rd November 2018, I got told that I had lost my baby. I was 10 weeks pregnant, and couldn’t think of anything that I wanted more than my baby in my arms. Unfortunately, my body wasn’t ready for this life step and couldn’t handle it so my little peanut had to say goodbye. I’m just here tonight to write my feelings out as sometimes, it’s easier to type than to speak to people about things. I’m guessing that’s why social media has become such a ‘trend’ in modern society. Everything is so much easier to do when it’s typed out! So, initially when I found out I was pregnant, I was absolutely terrified. I didn’t know what the fuck to do! I’m 19, at university, was in the most unstable, unhealthy, toxic relationship and was not in a place to house a child and bring up a life. But after a week or so of thinking about it, I knew that I couldn’t ter...

Weight Loss - How I Lost 3 Stone.

Image
If anyone has seen any of my socials, it's quite apparent that i've lost quite a substantial amount of weight in the past 12 months. In this post i'm going to say everything I did and all the small changes I made that helped me get rid of the excess weight that I was carrying! BACK STORY --- Firstly, I've always been seen as 'bigger' and always sat in between 11 and 16 stone between being 11 and about 16. Every female in my family are between them two weights, and I always thought it was a genetic thing. I just want to start by saying there is NOTHING wrong with being in that weight bracket! Everyone is beautiful in their own way and as long as they're happy in their own body, that's all that matters! My cousins absolutely rock the way they look and I couldn't be any prouder of them for being comfortable in their own body. However, on the flip side - I really wasn't comfortable with the way I looked. I've never had much self confidence in g...

Change is Happening... But it's not all bad!

So we've all been there at some point in our life, you finally get settled into a routine, everything seems like its falling into place... And them BAM! Something in your life changes, whether that be your job, friendship circle or even relationship and it can leave you feeling lost; feeling a little bit down in the dumps and leaving you just completely unsure where to, or even who to turn to! Recently, i've faced some change in my life and it's left me feeling most (if not all!) of the above factors and I have really struggled to know what was the 'right' thing to do in each situation. Along my 'journey', if you will, i've learnt a few valuable lessons that I believe are really important to share with you, or even just for myself when I re-read this in a few months to just pick myself back up! I hope you enjoy this post and I hope that some of these points prove valuable to you in some way!  1) Education and the changes it brings! This i...

HOW TO: Be prepared for University!

So maybe you're thinking about heading off to uni after you've finished your A Levels, or you've taken a gap year or maybe you're just interested in what it's like in the beginning... I'm currently half way through my first year and wanted to give those of you who are unsure of how to stop stressing about starting or just where to start with it and hopefully make you more aware of what it is like and, hopefully, make you more aware of steps you can take to help you feel ready for the life change. I must say before I carry on, everything I say is due to my own experiences and aren't subject to everyone who attends university! The first thing I could recommend is making sure that you are 100% sure on what you want to study. Currently, I study English Language and Linguistics at a local University. It's really important to make sure that you will both enjoy the course and learn about something you are interested in or passionate about; if you are neithe...
